The 4" Air-Tight Line Voltage New Construction Housing is designed for professional recessed lighting installations in non-insulated ceilings. Built with a heavy-duty steel plaster frame and one-piece drawn steel housing, it provides a durable and reliable foundation for residential and commercial recessed lighting applications.
Factory-installed gaskets restrict airflow to less than 2 CFM to meet ASTM-283 Air-Tight requirements, while adjustable bar hangers, a pre-wired junction box, and Quick Connector Plug help simplify installation on new construction projects.
